CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script:

Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.

If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

Pleasant Valley National Success!
posted by Roddy

How huge was the Pleasant Valley, Nova Scotia national? Well, I wouldn't really know because I wasn't there, but from seeing the photos and reading the reports, it was a HUGE event! Congratulations to the Cooke's and their volunteers for pulling off such a great race. Report by Naj

Pleasant Valley Pro National Recap

What an awesome weekend! Great weather, great racing, great fireworks! Over 8000 spectators went through the gates during the three day event.

Amateur day was held Friday with over 250 entries. Hats off to Jamie Gilles who won the 250 Int and was second in the GP Int and to Mark Toole for winning the GP Beginner class. Saturday was Pro practice with Sunday being Pro race day.

On Sunday, JSR showed what Pros are made of by running two very strong and consistent motos, despite the heat, to win the 250 Pro 1-1. Derrick Fisher also put on a stellar performance in the 125 Pro taking the overall win with a 1-1 finish. Local riders from the Atlantic region who gave it a shot on Sunday were Mitchell Cooke, Jamie Bird, Ryan Lockhart, Boo Green, Craig Bugden, Avery MacDonald, Aaron Pritchard, Jamie Dunlap, Blaine Prest, Heidi Cooke, Johnny Montes and Brian House.

Congratulations to Heidi Cooke for being the first female to run a Pro National Race, to Mitchell Cooke for finishing eighth in the 250 Pro, to Ryan Lockhart for finishing fourth in the 125 Pro and to all the other local guys who have what it takes to ride in a Pro National race!

Over 50 PHOTOS!!
Thanks to Joey Shubert, Andrew Deal and Jan for the pics

A special thank you from Joanne Cooke:

Thank You!

The Cooke family would like to thank everyone who came out and supported the racing at Pleasant Valley this past weekend. A lot of hard work from a lot of people went into preparing for the event, but the electricity that was in the air on Sunday certainly made it worthwhile. From Rob, Bob, Dave and crew who prepared the track to Jan, Wendy , Jannie and all the gate and canteen staff that made things happen on the weekend it was a great time. We would like to apologize for the lack of racing on Saturday, but with the low number of Pro riders the officials decided not to hold any qualifying heats. This was not our decision. We hope everyone will enjoy the reminder of the fall series and see you in Sept at Pleasant Valley.

Check out that crowd!
