CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script:

Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.

If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

Heidi Cooke completes women's first
posted by Roddy

Brookfield Nova Scotia's Heidi Cooke is no stranger to being first. A few weekends ago she completed another first - the first woman to ever qualify for and compete in a Canadian men's National motocross!

Pleasant Valley, NS; August 4, 2002
Round #2, 125 East CMRC National Export “A” Extreme Sports Series Canadian Motocross Championships

Diablo Honda’s Heidi Cooke makes history as first woman rider to compete in CMRC 125 National

Heidi Cooke and her Honda Diablo Pirelli Bills Factory Effex CR 125 made history this weekend at Pleasant Valley Motocross Park in Brookfield, NS. Cooke was the first woman ever to compete in a 125 National race. It was only fitting that her first 125 national race was on her home track. Cooke finished a solid 28th and 32nd, and to prove that she isn’t looking for any home track advantage, will be racing in next weekends’ national in St. Julie, QC.

“It was a really exciting weekend for us”, said Team Manager Andy White. “I’m very proud to have Heidi Cooke as a part of our team. She’s a mentor and a role model for many female racers and riders. Her involvement in this weekends’ 125 race shows that motocross is a very progressive sport in Canada. And beyond that, let’s face it – it’s exciting to be a part of history!”

Cooke is currently competing in the US and is in 8th position in the AMA Pro Womens League. Cooke also holds the title of 2001 Ladies Pro Class Champion in the CMRC Export “A” Extreme Sports Series Canadian Motocross Championships. Off-season, Cooke has appeared as the stunt double in the feature film “Rollerball” and did some stunt work on a Ninja 250 for the television series “Dark Angel”.
