CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script:

Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.

If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

What's with the CMRC site?
posted by Roddy

Everytime I go to the CMRC site I just get a bunch of text/numeric characters (see "more..." link). Is it the same for everyone?

This is what I get every time I hit the CMRC site:

How about you?

I don't have any issues viewing the site at all. I remember reading on the site a few weeks ago that this was happening for some people who were using Netscape for a browser, but other than that I'm not sure.

There is a problem with CMRC site compatibility and Netscape.
Some people using Internet Explorer are also having the same problem. The only workable solution that I have to avoid the gibberish is through a back door.

Hope this works for you.

Haven't had the page come up encrypted like that, but I have had serious problems geting into the site altogether. This always seems to be early in the week (mondays and tuesdays) and I get a dialogue box telling me Internet Explorer can't access the site. This all seems to be since they installed the new streaming audio software.

no problem here!

Hmmm... it seems pretty weird. I'm using Internet Explorer 6.0. Thanks for the replies!
