CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script:

Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.

If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

North Shore SNOWCROSS, Feb. 9
posted by Mark McCabe

The North Shore Snowcross Event held last weekend at Warwick Mountain was a huge success.

First of all, I would like to thank some people/sponsors
Atlantic Powersports- North River, N.S
Summit Snow & Sea Sports- Prospect Road, Halifax
Taylor's Tractor Parts- North River, N.S
McCabe's Painting, North River, Truro
Mitchell Cooke for putting on such a good show
Shawn Slaunwhite for riding so hard
Marvin MacRae for Building/Maintaining and getting the event going

The event went off without a hitch, the sun was out and the temperature were around -6.
They were perfect conditions for a snowcross event. The event started out with time trials for
the racers and also for the people who just wanted to get timed. The managment took a play it
by ear approach to cater to the requests of the riders. They had head to head racing with four
sleds abreast on the start line. There was a lot of enthusium from the fans to watch this type of
racing. At the last minute it was decided to have a fun day so all the riders and spectators got to
keep there money in their POCKETS! There were two classes of racing, PRO and JUNIOR with Male
and Female running together in the Junior class. Danica Cooke of Brookfield showed a lot of the boys
how to punch the throttle. The canteen ran out three times during the day to fill up all the hungery
fans and riders. 90% of the spectators came by snowmobile.

The results were as follows: PRO CLASS: 1st- Mitchell Cooke
2nd-Shawn Slaunwhite
3rd-Brad Sutherland

JUNIOR CLASS: 1st- Nathan Taylor
2nd-Kyle McCabe
3rd-Danica Cooke

We will be having another event in a couple of weeks and it will be bigger and better than the first, so I hope all of you will come out and share the excitment. Below you will find a picture of Mitchell Cooke struttin his stuff!!
Best Regards,
Safe Snowmobiling
Mark McCabe,
North Shore Snowmobile Club

I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures of Ian Horne at the snowcross. I have been living in Phoenix, Arizona for the last ten months and it would be nice to see some familar faces enjoying some of that great CANADIAN snow.
I hope that snowcross catches on at home because it is one of the funnest sports out there, besides motocross.....

Thanks, Mark #23
