Kingston MX Report
posted by Roddy
Joanne checks in with a report from the Kingston round of the CMRC Atlantic region series
Well I think nearly everyone made it to Kingston with a record rider entry of 300+. The sun was shinning, the track was great, and I didn't hear of any serious injuries. Kirk, LeeAnne and their crew did a great job with the day ending around 5:00.
Most where patient with us as we tried to introduce our new lap top for quicker results. It turns out it doesn't work too good when riders aren't using their assigned numbers from CMRC. Another reason to get your license early.
I have tried to entry all the results on the Atlanticmx page and they are now available on the CMRC site. Once we get the kinks ironed out the results can be sent the same day. We also have a new feature at the races in the form of "FAST TRAX" (Sorry, not sure of the spelling) Jan Swinkles and Jake Landry will be at the races with cameras in hand to capture all the action. You can buy you favorite picture right there. If you don't see yourself check with them early in the day and they will capture your triple jump or bar dragging turn during the day.
Also one of their big features will be trading cards. You can buy them of yourself or buy packets of riders and trade them until you get all that you want. And not to forget they will be putting together a year book of the seasons events. Watch for more news on this.
So far the weather man sounds like he is cooperating and the sun will shine again this weekend. So everyone get out to Mill Hill and check out the new track.
Joanne
CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
| CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed | CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute
this script:
- Error Message: Permission denied
- Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script
itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script
is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of
ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have
control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from
executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time
is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first
line of the script.
This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded
from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.
If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error
and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the
component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

Hey, if anyone has photos from either the Freddy AX's or the Kingston race, just send them to roddy@atlanticmx.com and I'll post them in the media gallery. Cheers,
