The Molson Canadian Centre for Speed is pleased to announce a partnership with the "Extreme Sports Series" and SuperMoto Canada to bring the region's first ever SuperCross and SuperMoto events to greater Moncton. The event is slated for the Victoria Day long weekend on May 18th and 19th and is art of the CMRC family of events. "We're extremely excited about our partnership with the Molson Canadian Centre said Andrew Hall, Export 'A' Marketing Manager, Extreme Sports Series. "It's an excellent facility for these types of high-flying events where there's no headroom concerns and the course is large enough to generate good speed. That's what the fans want to see" Mr. Hall concluded. The nationally recognized series will also include Quad and Freestyle events over the two days.
"We've got a great venue for this type of event. It's an outdoor stadium without all the height and size restrictions and our asphalt track around the SuperCross track makes the SuperMoto possible, said Wile. The Freestyle event also promises to raise some hair. "Freestyle is always exciting but local fans rarely see a competitive freestyle event as opposed to a show" said Wile. "We've created a real competition to encourage the best Freestyle performance. We're placing some cash on the line for the competitors too so there should be some interesting and exciting tricks in to get the fans on their feet", Wile added. To add to the excitement the Freestyle will be scored by 5 fans chosen from the crowd, at random. These fans will decide who wins the overall freestyle competition. Local riders are encouraged to register for all events. The event is open to all competitors. A one-day front admission for the weekend is just $10 while the entire weekend pass is just $23.00 (Adult) for all three days.
The Extreme Sports Series is a yearlong, nation-wide sponsorship series comprised of 35 events like Snowcross, Skiercross, Motocross, and Wakeboarding attracting thousands of spectators. For more information on the Extreme Sports Series, check out www.ExtremeSportsSeries.ca.
The Molson Canadian Centre is Atlantic Canada's #1 Motorsports Park and is located in Grand Barachois, just 4 km's from Shediac's Parlee Beach. All competitors are welcome and are encouraged to call 506 388-2415 to register. Fans can check out the park's web site at www.centreforspeed.com or call 506 388-2415 for more information.

This event is not Alantic Region CMRC event and is not affiliated at all with any of the promoters in the Atlantic Region or the guide line of the region that were set forth by the riders and promoters.
