Volunteers
Since 1999 AtlanticMX.com has been a website of volunteers and we maintain this site to support
the riders, promoters and sponsors of Atlantic Canadian
motocross. Our hope is to increase the exposure of our
riders, our tracks and the people who support our activities.
This site brings
news and articles of interest not just for the riders, but also
their family members, fans and supporters of the sport.
The bulletin board system allows all members of the Atlantic
Canadian MX community to have a voice, regardless of where they
live. In addition we cover, where appropriate, the
goings-on of the MX world in other parts of the
planet.
AtlanticMX.com
is operated on a volunteer basis. If you
would like to help out, you are welcome to do
so! Send photos, stories, interviews,
product evaluations or whatever you like to the
email addresses below.
We hope you enjoy the
site!

Mike Fraser
mfraser@atlanticmx.com
Mike Fraser, an old high school pal of mine,
returned to his birthplace in Nova Scotia after
spending 10 years in British Columbia. Since
returning Mike has started racing MX, becoming a
major advocate for off road riding and a regular
contributor here at AMX. |

Shelley Melanson (Sideline_Fanatic)
shelley_melanson@rogers.com
A self-proclaimed "sideline fanatic"
of motocross Shelley was introduced to the sport
in 2000 at the Riverglade national. Since then
she's been an avid fan and an active member of AMX.
Along with providing superb on-site coverage of
the national in 2004 she keeps us all up to date
on TV schedules and rider results around the
country. |

Smitty has been
on the Atlantic Canadian racing scene for more
than 10 years and before that was a top notch

Jan
Swinkels
swinks@tru.eastlink.ca
Naj is one of
those people who define what it is to be a mx
mom. Whether it's preparing mounds of
spaghetti for the year-end supper or just letting
everyone use her backyard for a training area, Jan
Swinkels is one of the nicest people you'll ever
meet. And if you're from Cape Breton...
well, you've got an 'in'. Check out her photo
website at Fast
Tracks.

Roddy MacLeod
roddy409@atlanticmx.com
Still reading? I started mx in 1985 and was
promptly lapped by everyone in the 80cc class. I
retired the first time in 1992 to start a family
and returned to the sport 7 years later in 1999.
AMX has been a personal hobby since 1999. |
