The Fredericton round of the CMRC National Arenacross series was incredible! Riders from Quebec, New England and all over Atlantic Canada rode their butts off for two exciting nights of racing. The results aren't available yet, but there's more, more photos posted!

At the Fredericton arenacross CMRC Atlantic referee Earl Doucette announced the May 13 Riverglade race has been re-scheduled to May 26 due to track conditions (read: snow). Update your calendars!

Mitchell Cooke update

Two Wheel/Pro-Action/Kawasaki Canada Pro rider Mitchell Cooke took a nasty fall on Saturday night while leading the Dash For Cash race at the Truro, Nova Scotia exhibition Arenacross. Mom Joanne reports his jaw was broken but surgery has been successfully completed and he's home eating Smoothies from Dairy Queen. Doctors expect he'll be 100% in four weeks, which in motocross terms, means he'll probably be riding again in about 14-20 days.

Wow! What a night! Fans were treated to some incredible racing last night at the Truro Arenacross. Organizers Joanne Cooke, Anthony and Wendy Turner, Jeremy Wallace and Scott Fraser did an excellent job. Results are here.

Treadwell to ride for Suzuki Canada

Professional photographer and webmaster of the New England Sports Committee (NESC) website, Paul Buckley is reporting "Iron" Mike Treadwell has just signed a contract with Suzuki Canada to race the 250 class in the upcoming Export "A" Canadian National Motocross Championships. NESC webpage.

And it was a great weekend, too. Charlie, Levi, Danny Smith, my Dad and I hauled our butts down to Southwick MA for the NESC's first race of the year. Despite the snow and rain (argh!) it was a blast. More to follow with photos soon.
