WPMX offers Holeshot awards

West Prince motocross (WPMX) track will be paying out awards for Pro's grabbing the holeshot this summer at their races.

Here's what Trent Arsenault writes on the AMX bulletin board:

" In an effort to deal with some of the concerns voiced at the riders meeting in the fall, I have decided to start a holeshot award at our non points race in July.

This is how it will work. The award will be 100 dollars for the 125 Pro class and 150 dollars for the 250 Pro's. If you get the holeshot in the first moto you will recieve half the total purse, $50 for 125's, $75 for 250's. I realise that this isn't a huge amount of money but it will help put some money in the hands of the riders so they can continue to do what they love.

Hope to see you all in July.
