Sept 18 is the same day as the Montreal Supercross. Any chance that an Atlantic Region race could change dates to accomodate. The pros can't be two places at once and Montreal pays a little better than Salisbury.
The week-ends both before and after the 18th are open. sad

Hey "too cheap to pay for a login".. Contact Joanne Cooke (see the schedule page) for more information about the schedule, although I am sure they picked that date for a reason. Race schedules are very difficult to arrange. Good luck! crying

My understanding is that Lee and Riverglade set up the last two races as to not conflict with MSX which has been the last Sat in September. Now this year the major sponsor changed from Valvoline to NAPA and the date changed.

It comes down to being the PROs choice as to which race to attend and there will always be some conflicting week-ends somewheres. My point being it is possible to be missing up to 6-8 of the regions best riders, when this was initially tried to be avoided. There is no way to please all the people all the time, but if a change was going to be made or considered sooner would be better than later. Perhaps a poll could be set up on this site to determine what the region would like. Maybe I am the only one who wants to be at both.(as a spectator and mechanic)

Thanks for reading my rant
