Juvenile Diabetes fund raiser at Riverglade

Larry Northrup, Toys for Big Boys, and AtlanticMX.com will be raising money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation this weekend at the Riverglade motocross event May 15th, 2004.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Canada is an affiliate of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International which started in 1970, by a group of concerned parents of children with juvenile (type 1) diabetes. They saw a need for an organization dedicated to finding a cure for this potentially deadly disease, and felt the way to find a cure for diabetes was through significant funding of diabetes research.
Juvenile Diabetes is close to the heart of Larry Northrup, owner of Toys for Big Boys and Riverglade motocross park . Larry has a personal friend with Juvenile Diabetes that is currently in a Diabetic Coma (our prayers and thoughts go out to the family in their time of need.) and has family members that suffer with diabetes.
Larry is co-chair for the "Walk for a Cure" event being held this May 30th in Moncton. For more information on how you can get involved in the "Walk for a Cure" event come by the Toys for Big Boys tent and ask Larry what you can do to help.
This weekend at the Riverglade motocross event Larry and Toys for Big Boys will be donating a $1 from each admission fee collected to this weekend's race. There will also be a 50/50 draw to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research.
AtlanticMX.com has offered to help and support Larry raise money for this great cause. The AtlanticMX.com tent will be selling the 50/50 tickets for Larry, as well $1 from the sale of each AtlanticMX.com (AMX) shirt and hat will go towards a donation to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research. Be sure to come by the AtlanticMX.com tent and pick up you 50/50 ticket and a new AtlanticMX.com shirt or hat and show your support of motocross in Atlantic Canada and more importantly Juvenile Diabetes Research.
Saturday is calling for clear skies, warm temperatures, and low wind. Please come out and enjoy the races and be a part of helping Toys for Big Boys and AtlanticMX.com raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research.
