Riverglade Diabetes Fund Raising a Great Success

The Juvenile Diabetes fund raiser was a smashing success.

As we know, last Saturday was a great day of racing. Over 320 registered racers and a total attendance of nearly 1500 spectators, racers, friends and family.

The Riverglade motocross event donated a $1 from each admission fee collected to the May 15th weekend's race. There was also the 50/50 draw to help raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research.

The results are in and there was $1480 generated from the $1 per addmission. The 50/50 draw brought in $310 dollars and then the winner generously donated back another $50 from her $310 in winnings. That's $360 raised from the 50/50 draw.

AtlanticMX.com sold 17 shirts/hats for the day and was able to contribute $25. AtlanticMX.com also assisted in the sale of the 50/50 tickets and informed everyone who came over to the AtlanticMX.com tent about the days fund raising event.

With $1865 raised Larry and Earl pitched in the remaining $135 to bring the grand total of the day to $2000 raised for Juvenile Diabetes Research.

It was a great success.
