Springhill's Lockhart showed he's very serious about the 125 East title this summer. 1-1 performances in St. Julie over the likes of Dube, Simon Homans and Kaven Gregoire.

Brookfield's Mitchell Cooke started behind Marco Dube both 250 class motos and managed to pass him in the first and put a 5 second gap on the former champion before the end. He was unable to do the same in the second moto, but was still finished ahead of Homans, Gregoire and Lockhart. Cooke said he was pleased with his 1-2 performance in Quebec saying that he's hungry to be on the bike each day.
