Information from the Organizers
These races are not meant to compete with the Atlantic region races but just as fun days for riders of all levels. The classes are broken down so that every rider has a chance to take home the big hardware and big it is. Thanks to our sponsors we give out the biggest and the largest # of trophies in the region, everyone that races takes home a trophy no matter where you place.
The races are set up to introduce new people to this great sport and give the hardcore racers an extra weekend of racing.
Directions
From the Moncton area you head to the metropolis ( haha ) of Sussex, once in sussex you head towards Poley Mnt. ski hill the track is located 1.6 km past Poley. It's right on the side of the road and just about impossible to miss. The trip for Moncton to the track should take about 1hr.
From Frederiction follow the new highway to the Coles Island exit, come straight into Sussex. Once in Sussex follow the signs to the ski hill they are dark blue in colour and have a skier on them. The track is 1.6 km past Poley and is right beside the main road impossible to miss.
Classes
As for the classes we run they are as follows:
- 50cc beg
- 50cc int
- 50cc pro
- 60cc beg
- 60cc int
- 60cc pro
- 80 four stroke
- 80cc beg
- 80 cc int
- 80cc pro
- 100-250 four stroke
- 125cc and up beg
- 125cc and up pro
- Ladies open class ( all bikes )
- Youth quads ( 50-90cc )
- Juvenile quads ( 125- 300cc )
- Pro quads.
17 classes in all. The reason for the Beg, Int and Pro classes is so everyone will be able to compete for the 1st place trophy. The pro class are not pro riders but the top riders that show up that day. This break down of classes helps ensure good quality racing in all the classes and gives everyone an equal chance to win, there are always a couple exceptions to the rule but for the most part our setup works fine.
