For release:

For some Amateur riders, qualifying for the Walton TransCan Grand National Championship is the easy part. But finding the money to travel to the biggest race of their lives is a little more tricky. Inside Motorcycles and IMX are trying to solve that problem. Get an online entry form or have one mailed to you www.insidemotorcycles.com or www.insidemotocross.ca.

Inside Track Communications, publisher of Inside Motorcycles and IMX has confirmed its renewal of the Walton GNC Travel Fund, a program designed to help defray the travel expenses for racers attending the Amateur Grand National Championships in Walton, ON Aug. 11-15. Over $5,000 will be available to amateur riders from across Canada.

The GNC is Canada’s biggest motocross event, attracting over 900 riders and 12,000 motorsports fans to the Southwestern Ontario venue each year. The program features the three-day Amateur National Championships and culminates with the final round of the Canadian National Pro Motocross Championship.

“This is the third straight year we’ve sponsored the Walton GNC Travel Fund and it’s been very gratifying to hear how much the program has helped out Amateur racers,” says David Weber, co-founder of Inside Motorcycles and IMX magazines. “Sometimes it doesn’t take much to make a big difference in a rider’s season.”
