Motocross-orientated shop in Halifax

Recently the ownership of Freedom Cycle (160 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax) changed hands. New owners Mark Green, Randy McLeod and Andrew Murray are hardcore motorcycle enthusiasts with a strong background in motocross. Their plan is to convert the shop from a predominantly street orientation to off road and motocross and continue their sponsorship of this website!

Here's the official release:
Freedom Cycle, Halifax, Nova Scotia, has been purchased from former owner Eric Stanley by three local riders. Former Pro motocrosser, National Roadrace rider and F1600 competitor Mark Green, as well as past Atlantic region Enduro Champion and intermediate motocrosser Randy McLeod, along with 2003 production 600 road race champion Andrew Murray have joined forces to purchased Freedom Cycle, 160 Chain Lake Drive.
Previously known mostly as a street orientated shop, Freedom Cycle will now switch gears to the areas premier motocross shop. We have already tripled the size of our gear selection and will carry the full KX and YZ lines for 2005. Presently Freedom Cycle supports pro rider Derek Scott, as well as 50 cc sensations Kyle McLeod, Matt and Luke Green.Expect a noticable presence at all regional events by Team Freedom Cycle. Freedom Cycle is committed to supporting and promoting Atlantic Region motocross. Drop in and see the new Freedom Cycle or stop by the Freedom Cycle pits at all the regional events.
