AMX members featured in Halifax Herald
by Roddy MacLeod
26 July 2004

This morning the Halifax Herald ran a story which gives the perspective of several AMX members on the Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Task Force's recommendations on Off Highway Vehicles (OHV's).

The Task Force's proposal, if accepted, would make it illegal for anyone under the age of 14 to ride their dirt bike in Nova Scotia. This would affect all our 50cc, 60cc and most all 80cc riders in the region.

Paul Wamboldt, Jake Wamboldt, Mike Fraser and Randy McLeod all made themselves available for the interview and presented the case for excluding motocross from the Task Force's recommendations very well.

The article, written by David Harrison, is on the Herald website right here.

If you haven't already, learn all about the Task Force and their recommendations in the AMX bulletin board.
