Blair Morgan Racing Yamaha's Ryan Lockhart took the Barkbusters Hare Scramble Series by storm Sunday as Round 5 of the Series continued in Chipman Brook outside of Kingston, Nova Scotia.
Lockhart led easily from the the first corner with the grace and style of a true pro. Post event, Lockhart was visibly tired and had worn through a brand new pair of gloves but was smiling and joking as usual. "The course was quite challenging on some of the wet slippery uphill rocky sections", exclaimed Lockhart.
Lockhart finished a few minutes ahead of Owen Patterson for the overall win in the 2 hour race. Patterson is presently the current Barkbusters Points A Class points leader. KTM Canada rider Steve Parkinson and Kevin Patterson were only 5 minutes behind the second place finisher locked in a battle for the third spot. Parkinson hung on in the last lap by only seconds for the third spot. Kevin Patterson finishing 4th.
The Barkbusters Series continues Sunday 12 Sept. Want to learn more? Read all about Hare Scrambles in the Atlantic on our bulletin board.
