Joanne
Cooke's report from La Tuque, Quebec
| "I
thought I'd just give you an update on how my
brood were doing. Heidi who was feeling a little
depressed when she got to Ulverton decided she had
to get back on the bike, so she rode one Ladies
moto at La Tuque. She didn't jump any jumps, but
still pulled off a win.
Mitchell
started the day great with a 4th in the 125. He
got tangled up with a downed rider in the second
moto and had to fight back for a 9th. |

| In
the 250 class, where he still struggles with his
starts, he rode to a 12th, but heat exhaustion
set in by the last moto and he could only ride
it, without really racing it. I guess he needs
his Mom there to nag him about drinking lots of
water.
Boo Green
qualified for the 125 Pro on Sunday and I
believe he finished 30th over all. Bravo to Boo.
Adam had a good Intermediate ride going on
Saturday when he went down in the last lap. They
thought he cracked his pelvis, but the last
reports say "not so". Bruised kidneys
and the like and may still be able to ride
Walton. Here's hoping. I didn't hear about
Blaine and Derek.
This is one
page I'll definitely be ear marking. Keep up the
good work."
