CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed

CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute this script:

Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first line of the script. This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.

If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.

2001 edition News and Stuff from Atlantic Canada's MX scene

Riverglade National Motocross, 28-29 July 2001

by Brett Lee, CMRC Racing

Jean Sebastian Roy pulled off his third consecutive overall win with consistent 1-2 moto finishes round 7 of the Export A Canadian Motocross Championship at Riverglade Motocross Park in Moncton, NB. The Blackfoot Honda rider extended his Championship points lead over teammate Blair Morgan in front of a huge maritime crowd.

JSR battled Honda rider Mike Craig throughout the first moto. Craig moved within striking distance several times before settling for second place. Third went to Gowland Richmond Motosport/Kawasaki’s Darcy Lange who remains third in the 250 Pro national points chase. Blair Morgan and Marco Dube rounded out the top 5 in moto 1 making it four out of the top five for Canadian riders.

In Moto 2, Marco Dube blistered to his second holeshot of the day aboard his Aldo/KTM with Mike Craig in close second. The two blistered away from the pack. Craig eventually pulled by Dube but it would be short lived. At the end of a fast straightway, Craig’s chain derailed and brought him to a sudden stop. Dube, who was tucked tightly behind Craig, clipped the stalled rider and crashed off the track. This handed the lead to Two Wheel Kawasaki rider Sean Hamblin with first moto winner JSR working his way back to the front after a hard get off in the early part of the race. Hamblin would manage to hold on for the win ahead of the hard charging Roy and Pacific Yamaha’s Brad Hagseth.

Roy ended up with overall, Hamblin second and Blair Morgan third.

In the 125cc class, Cycle City/Yamaha scored their first win of the 125 East series after Derrick Fisher scored strong 3-1 finishes.

In the first moto, points leader Mike Treadwell tracked down early moto leader Ryan Tuerck to take the checkered flag. Tuerck had his strongest race of the year and had a good lead before lapped traffic slowed him and allowed the consistent Treadwell to close. Derrick Fisher rebounded from a mid pack start and blitzed his way up to third. Rounding out the top 5 was Simon Homans and Mitchell Cooke.

Moto 2, Fisher grabbed the start and quickly moved into the lead. By lap 3 he had extended a large lead over the pursuing field to cruise to the win. Following Fisher was Simon Homans on his Yamaha YZ250F earning him the runner up spot for the moto and the series. Machine Racing Chuck Mesley finished a strong third, almost passing Homans at the checkered flag. Rounding out the top 5 were Ryan Tuerck and Mike Treadwell.

Fisher took the overall with Mike Treadwell second and Simon Homans third.

Nest round is in La Tuque, Quebec. For more information contact the CMRC at 905-642-5607 or visit www.cmrcracing.com.

From ALDO KTM:

Montreal, QC; August 2, 2011
Round #7; CMRC 250 National Championships; Riverglade, NB

Team ALDO KTM's Marco Dube made it clear to the packed crowd at the CMRC's 250 National Championships 7 th Round that he's got the strength and determination to take the lead, and his ALDO KTM SX520 has the agility and guts to make that happen.

Two-time National Champion Marco Dube wasted no time proving to a hungry pack of riders that he'd come to Riverglade to win. Both motos saw Dube blister into an early lead, clinching the holeshot for both motos. Marco led the pack of riders for most of the first moto, and finished a solid 5th.

From the drop of the gate in the second moto, Dube once again clinched the holeshot and made it clear to the other riders that his ALDO KTM SX520 was the bike to beat. Marco defended his position from Mike Craig in 2nd, and the two riders ran away from the pack. Marco led the pack throughout most of the race until Craig slipped into first. Marco fought to reclaim his lead, and at the end of a fast straight, Craig's bike suffered a chain derailment. Craig's bike came to an abrupt stop and sent Marco flying into the sidelines. Marco was able to complete the race, and finished an impressive 11th.

"The weekend was mine," said Dube. "It was an unfortunate incident where I didn't have time to maneuver out of the way of Mike Craig. The ALDO KTM SX520 was so strong. I'm happy that I was at least able to finish the race and collect some points"

Lance Smail once again rode consistently. Smail ran the first moto in 7th position, however was unable to complete the race due to mechanical difficulties. The second moto saw Lance put in a strong race, and was happy to finish 9th.

Heidi Cooke, ALDO KTM's dynamo in the competitive Ladies Class once again dominated the race on her ALDO KTM 125. Heidi pulled off two consecutive first place finishes, and once again finished the day on the podium.

"We're really pleased with all of our riders," said Team Manager Darren Pilling. "The whole team's level of ambition, focus and professionalism is second to none. Both Marco and Heidi in particular have shown that our bikes have got what it takes to win. We're looking forward to this weekend's race in LaTuque"

Team ALDO KTM would like to thank their sponsors KTM Canada, Pro-Tech Suspension, Michelin, Factory Effex, Bills Pipes, Acerbis, Bondi Engines, Renthal, BMG Sports, Turner Engineering, Fox Canada, Troy Lee Designs, Bieffe, Steen Hansen, Afterburner Sports Drink, Diablo Goggles, Twin Air, Torco, Children's Starlight Foundation, Falcon Golf, Zimmerance Trailers, and Sticky for their ongoing support.
