Holiday R&R at the Swinkels

Hey you know it's gotta be a special kinda family to open the house up to a bunch of action-starved motoheads - especially right after Christmas! Or maybe they're just crazy?!

Either way, a whole ton of people showed up to the Swinkels' house on Saturday, December 30. The older folks stayed cozy inside sampling "The Recipe" (a wonderful fruit and, ahem, booze concoction normally reserved only for those pre-race nights around the campfire) while the kids did what they do best - played outside!

Here's a (probably partial) list of who was there:

Smiths, Cookes, Turners, Lockharts, Macabes, MacKenzies, Pattons, Bazansons, MacLeods, Elliots, Dana Gorman, Scott Frasier, Darren Van Snick, Joe, Joyce and Ryder Treen... (that's about 50 people, by the way!).

Thanks again to Jan, Peter, Jaime and Robbie for being incredible hosts! Everybody had a such great time we didn't even get to the Supercross Circuit Tournament. Of course it was a foregone conclusion Robbie was going to smoke everyone anyway (and claim his awesome homemade trophy) - he'd been practicing so much his hands were showing definite signs of PlayStation thumbs.
