Motion
Pro's "Bead Buddy"
by Keith
Ratchford
| Not
everyone has a factory ride so most people spend
a lot of time changing tires, and if you have
any time commitments such as school or work,
time spent working on your bike is time lost
riding. Enter Motion Pro and their Bead Buddy to
help you get that tire changed and back on the
track.
The Bead Buddy
provides that third hand that you can always use
while working those tire irons. When you are
installing a tire, simply hook it on a spoke and
it holds the tire on the rim while you work the
tire iron around the rim towards the Bead
Buddy.
|
 |
 |
Instead
of the tire popping off the rim on one end as
you put it on the other end, the tire stays in
place on the rim and lets you use two hands to
get the job done. Motion Pro also says it will
help in removal by forcing the tire down in the
rim center and making it easier to get the tire
iron in. As far as removal goes I don't have
much problem with that and I didn't find the
Bead Buddy did much, it shined on the
installation end of things. Now, if you are
already the master of the tire change you
probably won't find a Bead Buddy helps you that
much but if you are struggling a bit with those
tires I say get one for sure, every bit helps
and it looks trick in the toolbox. |

CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed
| CGIWrap Error: Script Execution Failed | CGIWrap encountered an error while attempting to execute
this script:
- Error Message: Permission denied
- Error Number: 13
This message usually indicates there is a problem with the script
itself. Often this indicates either that the #! line of the script
is incorrect, or the script was uploaded in binary mode instead of
ascii mode. Check to make sure that the script does not have
control-M's at the end of every line. That will prevent it from
executing. An easy fix that takes care of this most of the time
is to put '#!/.../perl --' instead of '#!/.../perl' on the first
line of the script.
This is typically a problem if the script was edited or uploaded
from a DOS/Windows/Macintosh station to a unix based server.
If you are not the owner of this script, please forward this error
and the URL that caused it to the script owner. That is often the
component in the URL right after /cgiwrap/.
